Tactical GPS is a vehicle-diagnostics display. The mobile app reads speed from your phone's location and reads engine and transmission data over Bluetooth. Those readings stay on the device. The app has no account, no ads, and no analytics. The website collects an email address only if you join the waitlist, and it uses the site tools listed below.

This policy is published by the developer of Tactical GPS, the operator of tactgps.com and the publisher of the Tactical GPS app on Google Play and the Apple App Store ("Tactical GPS", "we", "us"). The same developer is the contact for privacy requests.
The app is a display for HMMWV and tactical-vehicle diagnostics. It is not a classified-information system. Do not send classified, export-controlled, or mission-sensitive information through the website chat or the waitlist email.
The Tactical GPS app (Android package tactgps.com.steice) runs on the phone or tablet you install it on. It does not require an account.
While the app is open, it uses precise location (GPS and similar device sensors) to calculate and show vehicle speed. Location is processed on the device for that display. We do not upload coordinates, speed, headings, or location history to Tactical GPS or to an analytics service.
The app does not request background location. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The app uses Bluetooth, including Bluetooth Low Energy, to find and connect to a diagnostic device you choose. It reads vehicle data from that device, such as voltages, pressures, temperatures, engine speed, transmission status, and diagnostic trouble codes, and shows them on screen.
That vehicle data stays on the device for the current session. The app does not send it to us, to Wialon, or to another server. Wialon and any on-vehicle telematics hardware are separate products. If you use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply to data they receive.
Bluetooth is used to talk to the diagnostic device. It is not used to estimate your location.
This information stays in the app's local storage. Remove a saved device from the app's settings, or uninstall the app, to delete it. We cannot delete it for you, because we never receive a copy.
The Android app declares a network permission because the platform and interface libraries may use it. The app itself does not transmit your location or diagnostic readings.
tactgps.com is a marketing site. You can read it without giving us information. You give us information only if you use the waitlist or the chat.
If you submit the early-access form, we collect the email address you enter. We use it to tell you when Tactical GPS is available and to send related product notices. A hidden form field is used to reject automated spam. We do not use the waitlist to build an advertising profile.
The form is delivered through EmailJS and is also logged to a Google spreadsheet we control. Those companies process the address on our behalf. See "Service providers" below.
Most pages load a Tidio chat widget. If you open the chat and send a message, Tidio receives the message and technical data such as your IP address and browser details, so we can reply. Do not put classified or sensitive operational information in the chat.
Most pages use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-C7YSBMBXNK) and a Google Ads conversion tag (AW-874588603). Google may receive your IP address, browser and device details, pages you view, and cookie identifiers. We use this to see which pages are used and whether an ad led to a visit. The site does not show third-party ads inside its pages.
Google may treat this information as its own under Google's privacy policy, and may use it for measurement. You can reject non-essential cookies in your browser, use a browser privacy mode, or use Google's Analytics opt-out and Google ad settings.
Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, the EmailJS script from jsDelivr, and the chat script from Tidio. Your browser sends your IP address to those hosts when it requests those files. One page also loads an image from a third-party image host.
The site does not set its own account cookies. Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Tidio may store cookies or similar identifiers on your device. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking them may stop chat or make visit counts less accurate. The site does not respond to a "Do Not Track" signal as a separate setting, because browsers no longer send one consistent signal.
We do not use vehicle diagnostics or precise GPS from the app for advertising. We do not use waitlist emails for sale to other companies.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except for the Google measurement tags described above.

Their policies are at EmailJS, Google, and Tidio. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request.
The app does not add a service provider for location or vehicle data, because that data is not transmitted.

Include the email address you used so we can find the row. We may need to confirm that the address is yours. We will respond within 45 days. There is no app account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from that device.
This page is the data-deletion resource for the website. Use the same email address for a deletion request. Google Play and the App Store list this policy at https://tactgps.com/privacy.html.
If you live in California or another state with a privacy law, you can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information the website holds, and you can appeal a denial by replying to our decision. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the Google measurement described above. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. You may use an authorized agent if you provide proof of authority.
Categories collected on the website, when you use those features: identifiers (email address), internet or network activity (pages, approximate location inferred from an IP address, cookie identifiers), and the contents of a chat message. The app does not collect those categories off the device.
The website and the app are not directed to children under 13, and they are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child sent us an email or a chat, write to privacy@tactgps.com and we will delete it.
The website is served over HTTPS. Waitlist addresses are stored in the tools named above. App data remains in the operating system's app storage. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
We operate from the United States. EmailJS, Google, and Tidio may process website information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. Those countries may not provide the same privacy protections as your home country.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, or restriction, and you may object to measurement that is not required to answer you. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact privacy@tactgps.com.
If we start uploading location, vehicle data, or account information, or if we add advertising or analytics inside the app, we will update this page and change the effective date before that version of the app ships. Continued use of the website after we post a change means you have the updated policy. The app's store listing will point at the updated page.
